Reporting to the Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for the following:

• Working with internal stakeholders and the Lead Data Scientist to scope requests for data pipelines
• Building and maintaining data pipelines
• Assisting Data Scientists and Analysts in running their work at scale or with automation
• Building on and assisting with our internal data platform (MAP)
• Assisting more junior members of the engineering team

Ideally you will have the following skills / experience:

• Building and maintaining data pipelines on Apache Airflow or similar 
• Building, managing, and maintaining infrastructure in AWS or another cloud provider using Infrastructure as Code 
• Strong Python & SQL skills with a number of years experience 
• Building and managing CI / CD pipelines and deploying into live systems 
• Knowledge of key Data Architecture principles and how to build effective infrastructure for data tasks 
• Scripting experience i.e. bash, Makefiles and linux
