Our Data and Insights Practice specialises in data and BI strategy and governance, consulting and implementation. We deliver complete, pragmatic data and analytics solutions, enabling customers to leverage the value of their data.

We are urgently looking for a Principal Data and Insights Technical Lead with extensive experience in delivering Cloud Data Solutions. This will include using technology and services including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Power BI and Data Bricks to join this high performing team and to work on exciting projects. We are open to considering those seeking a permanent or contracting opportunity.

You will be working closely with our customer, using your extensive experience to analyse, design and develop data and analytics solutions and projects.

The skills and experience required are:

• In-depth hands-on work experience with large-scale implementations of Data Cloud solutions
• In-depth knowledge of Azure technology stack including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Azure Synapse Analytics, databricks, Power BI, Azure Data Factory
• Experience implementing DevOps/DataOps solutions is an advantage
• Experience implementing Snowflake solutions is an advantage
• Design and implementation of end-to-end data pipelines in Azure
• Proven experience architecting and designing Power BI solutions
• Practical understanding of the various data ingestions products and technologies
• In-depth hands-on work experience and knowledge of AWS will be an advantage
• Strong background and experience in all aspects of Data Platform and Business Intelligence implementations
• Experience with other data visualisation tools
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn new information quickly
• Strong data platform design skills
• Excellent relationship management abilities
• Strong time management and co-ordination skills
• Expert knowledge of MS Office suite (incl. MS Project)
• Focus on delivering high quality solutions that meet customer needs
• Experience with Dimensional modelling, Kimball Design as well as Data Vault design
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written (documentation)
• Extensive consulting experience and a high level of commercial awareness
• Good problem solving and relationship management skills
