We have an opportunity for a VP/Director to join the Product Development team to lead large scale initiatives that both broaden Citi’s product offering as well as enhance the overall client experience.  You will champion our client needs and lead initiatives to ensure they are met.  Continuously improving the client experience is central to unlocking value and thereby driving organic growth. Extensive equity finance experience is essential alongside a comprehensive understanding of hedge fund strategies across the full range of asset classes including fixed income, equities and derivatives.

Job Purpose:

• Working within the EMEA Prime Finance Business and the Global Product Development group to drive the strategic development of the Prime product offering and platform

• Help define, manage and deliver enhancements to the Prime product range and infrastructure platform

• Management of the EMEA SPB book of work

• Ownership of a number of global initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

• The Product Development Senior Specialist is responsible for activities related to the development of new products and/or features and functionality of products including developing business cases, requirements definition (BRDs), product enhancements innovation, feature and functionality definition based on market and industry research and trends and client needs

• Creates project plans, business and technical requirements documents for product execution

• Has direct interaction with sales, business managers and technology, to understand their long term vision, discuss industry trends, and incorporate them into the product & solutions strategy

• Owner of certain key global development initiatives  

• Connectivity and communication with key stakeholders regarding business requirements and development plans

• Help determine strategic business opportunities and an end state vision for the platform / product

• Assess and determine business priorities

• Lead global initiatives (including determine strategy/vision, requirements, approach, oversight of delivery etc)

• Create overall vision and plan for change and development

• Communication (re deliverables, plans, issues)

Knowledge/Experience:

• In depth knowledge of prime brokerage

• Track record of successfully delivering change and leading projects of significant size

• Track record of working with senior stakeholders

• Ability to represent Citi in client meetings

• Ability to manage people, projects and business change

• 5+ years in Prime Finance

• Degree or equivalent business qualification
