Pricing Analyst –  FTC until December 2022

The role holder is responsible for completing all manual pricing requests and analysis including bulk contract rescheduling for new and existing customers for all business channels, conducting market and competitor analysis and proposing contract amendment solutions, ensuring that all business channels are competitive, profitable and sustainable.

• Recommend pricing for business channel sales teams based upon analysis and modelling, understanding their specific requirements and challenges while ensuring proposals align with profitability targets.
• Complete manual pricing requests and analysis for all Alphabet business channel sales teams including Corporate Sales, International Sales, BPP, Indirect Sales, Account Management, Public Sector and Wholesale Funding.
• Co-ordinate monthly and ad-hoc pricing parameter updates for customer under specific pricing strategies.
• Analyse competitive position of Alphabet at a vehicle, product, Sales channel and Market level. Recommend pricing actions to improve competitive positions for all of these areas.
• Complete pricing for all Sale and Leaseback opportunities.
• Conduct live fleet reviews for existing customers and propose solutions to meet customers’ requirements and achieve profitability target.
• Propose appropriate settings to maximise profit in reschedules and early terminations while maintaining TCF principles.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

• Degree level or equivalent (numerate discipline preferred).
• Studying CIMA would be an advantage.
• Qlik Sense/ SAS Skills desirable but not essential
• Proven analytical experience in support of a sales environment.
• Ability to see opportunities beyond the normal confines of the business.  Financial Services experience.
• Ability to work independently in a small team and influencing other people around them.
• Ability to present complex and varied data in a way that is appropriate to the audience, and facilitates understanding.
• Understanding of business risk, process and controls.
• Good understanding of commercial, legal, tax and accounting framework around motor finance and leasing.
