Acting as the Design Authority on complex solutions, as a Pre-Sales Consultant you'll be the voice of the customer/Partner to help shape our products and services, building customer technical relationships & working with service management and sales to ensure that the correct solutions are proposed to customers.
Based on thorough qualification and engagement, the Pre-Sales Consultant will deliver high customer satisfaction.
You'll add true value by being the trusted advisor to the customer acting in a ‘CTO’ capacity for TalkTalk and engaging up to Board level with our customers.
You'll articulate the reasons why TalkTalk’s services are the best fit for them as well as ensuring the operational viability of the proposed solutions and supporting the strategy to fibre, transitioning from legacy to future services

How will I deliver in this role?
Technical Design Authority includes the following responsibilities, but is not limited to:
Technical qualification, documentation and guidance to our customers
Accountable for end to end solution design
Accountable for Operationally compliant solutions
Technical qualification responsibility
Creation of High-level design documentation for the end to end solution/service
Act as ‘Trusted Advisor’ to the customer
Customer Advisor on strategic/tactical product migrations
Provides customers with regular updates on TalkTalk Business’s Product Roadmap – New products/lifecycle refreshes/EOL
Subject Matter & Industry experts – presence internally and the marketplace by creating blogs/videos/podcasts/hosting webinars
Working with Product, Network and Technology teams to implement standardisation or productization of frequently asked customer requirements
What do I need in order to deliver in this role?
You'll have previous experience in a similar role designing MPLS & SDWAN solutions and wider connectivity IP networks, including documentation creation, proposal writing, presentation experience and technical ownership of the end to end solution.
You'll have strong commercial acumen with a good understanding of the competitive landscape, technology evolution and the changes to how businesses develop strong business continuity
Technically, you'll have a deep knowledge of IP Networks
You'll also have solid technical knowledge of voice services (IP telephony and VOE)
You'll have an excellent knowledge of ‘Cloud’ technologies
An ability to consult with our customers
