Job Description

Established in 2000, Angas Securities is a funds management company acting as Responsible Entity for its Managed Investment Schemes. Due to continued growth, Angas Securities are now looking to recruit a Portfolio Manager to join and support their existing lending department.

About the role:

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Portfolio Manager will be responsible for supporting the effective and efficient delivery of the loan portfolio. The successful candidate will be a team player and passionate about providing exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities will include analysing incoming loan applications, assessing and evaluating creditworthiness of loan and mortgage applicants, and preparing detailed loan proposals. You will liaise with investors, borrowers, valuers, solicitors, government authorities and real estate agents in the approval, settlement and management of loans.

Duties:

Provide support to the lending team

Prepare and present detailed loan proposals

Analyse incoming loan applications

Evaluate creditworthiness of loan and mortgage applicants

Ensure loan conditions are fulfilled pre-settlement

Review loan agreements

Prepare Letters of Offer

Issue instruction to solicitors for execution

Monitor monthly reconciliations of lending portfolio

Skills & experience:

Have a minimum 3 years' experience in banking or other financial institution

Commitment to providing excellent customer service

A strong desire to pursue a professional career in commercial lending

A collaborative personality who thrives in a team environment

Effective written and verbal communication skills, particularly with external clients

Qualifications in finance-related degree (desirable)
