What we do
Investment Management helps the Group maximise the value from its investment portfolio – finding ways to improve efficiency, increase benefits and improve customer outcomes. We also respond to thematic risks and opportunities as they emerge. It handles all investment requests for LBG, and is relied upon for its rich insight and objective decision making.
The work is high profile, with a large number of executive stakeholders and provides a rare opportunity to engage across a variety of levels in the organisation, and on some of the biggest decisions the Group faces. Together, the team look after a portfolio covering hundreds of different initiatives and a total of nearly 3 billion pounds of spend a year. In addition, the team are directly involved in some of the most strategic programmes in the Group, helping craft the strategic direction of investment.

About the role:
We're looking for a new team member to join our team which is accountable for running a complex prioritisation process and delivering expert analysis on our Investment Portfolio to key senior stakeholders
2021 highlights included: regularly preparing analysis for the CFO, COO and incoming CEO; developing a new Investment Philosophy to prioritise longer-term investment; leading a cross-Group team in helping develop and fund the new Group Strategy as well as working with GEC to prioritise the 2022 investment spend
