Senior Platform Engineer - Sustainable FinTech 

Salary: Up to £80,000

 Location: Remote/Bristol.

The Role As Tumelo grows, so does the benefit of investing into engineers and their tools. We are looking for an infrastructure engineer who feeds off empowering product engineers with superpowers. Fast builds/tests, in-depth tests with good feedback, great linting are all superpowers that we have pushed and we hope you can help improve Responsibilities: Building/maintaining and improving core platform pieces Supporting other engineers with core pieces Understand Tumelo's infrastructure and define solutions Improve the overall developer experience at Tumelo, including cloud setup/platform/CI setup. Find/Develop/Implement developer tools CI strategy and its implementation Observability strategy and its implementation 

Your skills and experience: Find clear joy in empowering others with superpowers Impeccable attention to detail A fascination for technology Find clear joy in experimenting and trying new thing Analytical approach to problems to find highest impact improvements Passion for optimising those last little bits Professional experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure Professional experience in software engineering and design architecture Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures Strong understanding of best practices regarding cloud setup Strong understanding of Linux/Docker and other delivery technologies Strong understanding of cloud platforms: GCP and AWS Positive outlook in meeting challenges and working to a high level What we offer: Salary up to £80,000 Generous company share scheme - we are all owners of Tumelo and beneficiaries of our collective success.
