About this role
The successful candidate for this role will be supporting and implementing accurate platform configuration requirements (commercial/secure) for system access and support for customers and user accounts (internal/external) in high volume 24x7 customer operations
Business users and teams often require advice to identify their platform requirements and use of systems. The role holder collaborates with a range of users, to check these requirements, identify best solutions and translate them into system implementation steps.
The adoption of new platform service developments and operational usage continues increasing and the need for effective system configuration controls and support.
You'll have the following responsibilities
Dealing with range of system access & profile requests for internal/external accounts - ensuring quality, accuracy and timely completion
Working in a wider team and collaborating on platform changes, amendments and deletions to system configuration settings including KCIs, SLAs, customer contacts and support groups which impact operations teams and direct customer experience of BT service
Provide a detail focus and enthusiasm to right first time approach ensuring consistency and accuracy – minimising service, user, customer or operations impacts
Identify and contribute in wider platform team to improvements in configuration services through helping with e.g. automation, scripting, templates, profile development and controls
Collaborates and works well with range of business stakeholders to understand requirements, deal with enquiries and explain sometimes technical information in simple words to business users
Able to support varied business challenges of volume work and emergency/ad hoc requests. These can be time limited or needed for urgent implementation requirements
Some of work maybe restricted/sensitive or for UK eyes only and therefore ability to deal with restricted information and confidentiality is required as part of role in team
Display high levels of accuracy and, precision to working on live systems and resolving configuration problems.
