Our trains and network are evolving to meet the needs of our customers now and well into the future. We’re continuing to integrate technological innovations that help us deliver a smarter and more sustainable network.

About the team

This role sits within Asset Scheduling and Delivery Coordination Unit within Engineering & Maintenance and is responsible for developing, planning and implementing possession strategies to optimise the safe and efficient delivery of the Sydney Trains Annual Works Program, TfNSW, Sydney Metro and Capital & External projects.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the work completed is aligned with internal requirements, whilst ensuring the most efficient use of electrical network isolation resources and the most effective outcomes.

You will be joining a work environment that’s inclusive as well as diverse. Every idea and perspective is valued so that our service reflects the community we serve. The role does not include any physical labour or on-site requirements, although the opportunity for site visits does exist.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

Coordinate proposed construction and maintenance activities to ensure the delivery of the Sydney Trains Annual Works Program, Capital and External Infrastructure and Rolling Stock assets that achieve the most productive use of available electrical network isolation resources

Manage the development and coordination of the requirements for the isolation and switching of High Voltage electrical equipment throughout the network for all Sydney Trains Capital and Maintenance Program Schedules

Establish effective working relationships with key stakeholders in the Engineering & Maintenance branch and Transport for NSW to support an environment of cooperation in delivery programming and planning
