Job Description

The Opportunity 

Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a well-organised Operational Workforce Coordinator (Permanent full time) to join our Customer and Network Coordination team within the Customer Coordination and Service Delivery Branch. This role will design and develop strategies and workforce plans, collaborating with stakeholders to identify workforce trends and efficiencies, training liabilities, major activities, rosters, budget constraints and other major initiatives which will affect the workforce, to contribute to the delivery of the long-term business strategy and annual program of work and to support the management of the future directorate workforce and its capability needs.

The Operational Workforce Coordinator contributes towards the following day to day responsibilities: 

  • Create and maintain a workforce plan, in partnership with relevant stakeholders
  • Analyse and monitor the availability, sustainability and effectiveness of the workforce composition to ensure future workforce needs can be met
  • Identify critical workforce segments in the organisation and develop actionable workforce management recommendations to proactively manage and respond to workforce trends and business needs

This role can be based in any location around NSW and you will have the flexibility to work at a Transport office near you. 

About You 

You are motivated and highly organised Operational Workforce Coordinator seeking an opportunity to apply your effective communication, high attention to detail and strong analytical skills. 

To be successful in the role you will have demonstrated experience with long term workforce planning and performance in a large complex organisation. Experience working in creation of rosters and implementation of a new rostering system will be highly desirable.

Salary and benefits 

The salary for this position is Grade 8A ($123,470) – 8E ($138,284) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
