Position Summary
We are looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to lead and execute against a strategy that improves ROLLER’s web performance - including ownership over SEO efforts like on-page and off-page optimization, working collaboratively with paid media specialists, developers and designers to develop efficiencies and improve the conversion rate of our website.
We are looking for an analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams. Current knowledge of search marketing and growth marketing is essential to this role.
Your goal will be to ensure that the website is search-engine and user-friendly and that the content developed supports our inbound acquisition efforts.
This role is within our Demand Generation team and will report to our VP of Demand Generation.
Ideally, the Performance Marketing Manager will be located in Sydney, Australia, however, we are open to reviewing candidates in other locations, provided they are in a similar time zone to Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
Developing and implementing effective search marketing strategies including increasing our organic search share of voice and positions on the SERP, coordinating across keyword planning in conjunction with our paid media specialist and defining opportunities to create new entry points to the site
Help inform content development based off key engagement metrics, competitive analysis and opportunity forecasting
Manage and monitor the performance of the ROLLER website using Google Analytics, GTM and working cross-functionally with other team members to determine the parameters for conversion, goal and event tracking before implementing
Use a variety of tools and data sets to make on-page, off-page and technical SEO optimizations that work to increase visibility and engagement
Work collaboratively with copywriters, designers, and developers to improve the performance of the website by making optimizations to page speed, correcting technical errors, and enhancing content and creative
Collect data and report on traffic, rankings, and other digital marketing metrics on a monthly basis
About You
Proven experience as SEO Manager or a similar role
Knowledge of standard and current SEO and SEM practices
Knowledge of HTML/CSS
Knowledge of relevant tools and web analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends)
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Analytical mindset with numeral aptitude
Preferably some experience with Hubspot CRM and CMS, but not required
BSc/BA in Marketing, Business or related field
