About The Role

In this role, the successful candidate will provide a quality and solution focused Employee Relations service through providing support on complex change programmes, specialist training interventions, development of HR policies as well as involvement in diversity, inclusion and wellbeing projects. This will balance the needs of colleagues and the commercial considerations of the business. You\'ll work with relevant stakeholders to champion positive Employee Relations across the business and protect it from exposure to risk.

 

Some of your accountabilities will include:

  • Effectively communicating, influencing and consulting with internal stakeholders and trade unions
  • Launching policies, handbooks and procedures through effective and timely project management
  • Takes ownership for relevant parts of the ER people plan, working with relevant manager(s) to drive continuous improvement
  • Proactively promote awareness, understanding and acceptance in D&I and Wellbeing, throughout the business
  • Designing, developing and, where appropriate, delivering relevant and sustainable specialist ER training and operational materials to support all business areas by collaborating with relevant centres of excellence

About You

We\'re looking for someone who has:


  • Experience of working on and managing change projects

  • Strong employment and case law knowledge and best practice employee relations in external organisations

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identifying themes and trends that will act as input to plans and solutions

  • Demonstrates an ability to influence and confidently challenge stakeholders to reduce risk 

  • The ability to remain highly effective in changing business circumstances, with strong personal resilience, versatility and adaptability

  • Demonstrate passion and commitment enabling a culture where everyone is welcome and colleagues feel cared for

  • Experience of designing and implementing specialist training interventions, face to face and e-learning
