The Opportunity


The People Partner role exists to support store and above store teams to ensure consistent deployment and embedding of people initiatives, resources, tools and capabilities.  This role pivots between tactical ‘on the ground’ support as well as capability build and partnership for store leaders, and works closely with State and Zone teams, in particular State Leads, Operations Managers, Group Managers and Culture & People Partners.
This is a secondment role for three months.

 

Key responsibilities Include, but are not limited to;

 

  • Provide intensive and targeted coaching and support to stores and above store teams during the deployment of people initiatives
  • Facilitating Training
  • Achieve roster change outcomes, through great consultation
  • Monitor and track progress of change plans, rosters changes and face to face learning.
  • Ensure stores are on track to meet key results
  • Support and enable multi-skilling outcomes
  • Track quality of conversations notes, provide coaching and support to Teams to ensure great records are created and maintained
  • Provide feedback to relevant teams on progress
  • Partner with Store Managers & Group Managers to support/lead high need team member conversations or communications where necessary
  • Manage and coordinate queries, escalate as required
  • Ensure store leader capability to lead and embed change 
  • Ensure accurate, up to date and meaningful data is maintained in all tracking documents and correspondence shared and/or used by stores teams
  • Update Operations Managers, Group Managers, and People Partners on progress and developing trends/concerns in specific stores or groups
  • Work close withPeople teams to ensure they are kept updated and across high care/high risk matters, involving team member welfare, or other high risk considerations


Who we’re looking for


To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience;

 

  • Experience in business partnering (HR preferred) and working across a diverse team
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Able to work and partner across multiple teams and functions from in-store teams to senior leaders to deliver the right results
  • Strong communication skills
  • ER experience is desirable
  • Demonstrated coaching and influencing skills 
  • Travel between stores will be required for this role, so a drivers license and car are essential
