Role: People, Culture & Safety Systems Analyst
Term: 12 month Maternity Leave Contract

Award/Level: Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 6.1 of the Moreton Bay Regional Council EBA4 Certified Agreement
Remuneration: $91,009+ Super + 9 day fortnight + leave loading
About our Opportunity:
Join our team during an exciting time of transformation where you will be involved in a range of projects and people initiatives. Reporting directly to the People Experience Manager, this role will be integral to the continuous improvement, development and maintenance of our HRIS platform, people data, analytics and reporting.
In addition, you will:
Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of reports and dashboards, with a focus to improve and enhance reporting to inform decision making
Play a key role in projects, including assisting with design, change impact assessment, data preparation, and testing
Interpret business needs, scope requirements and liaise with a variety of stakeholders (including IT) in order to design and build optimum solutions and deliver metrics
Act as a subject matter expert on matters relating to the HRIS platform and assist in the effective rollout and management of the second stage rollout.
About you
You will have an inquisitive mind when it comes to data and analysis with a love for systems and how they connect. Your passion for HR and how metrics can inform and improve the employee lifecycle will enable you to identify areas for business improvement with ease. Your well-developed people skills will support you in developing excellent relationships with stakeholders allowing you to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
To be successful in the role you will bring:
Demonstrated experience in a HR systems or generalist role with a strong focus on systems and reporting
Demonstrated experience in data analytics and the use of HR management information systems
High proficiency in MS Excel (for example pivot tables, v/h lookup functions, macros, advanced formulas and advanced charting functions)
Demonstrated analytical, research and problem-solving skills, including the ability to summarise complex issues, identify trends and emergent issues, and develop recommendations and options for their resolution
Experience with TechOne and Power BI highly desirable
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Data Science, Business Management or other related field are advantageous but not essential
