The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity now exists for a People and Culture Business Partner Director to partner with the Sydney Trains team. This is a 12month fixed-term contract position.
In this role, you will be a key member of the Sydney Trains Crewing Leadership team and the broader Greater Sydney and Sydney Trains P&C Business Partnering Leadership team. You will lead the provision of strategic advice and support to senior and executive management relating to people and organisational development strategies. You’ll also be tasked with supporting a team of blue collar employees and their leadership team through complex Transformational and Operational change.
This is a highly industrialised environment, you will be required to engage with the blue collar workforce, management, unions and specialist members of our People and Culture team to support you with delivering the program of work.

About You
You are a passionate and inspiring people leader with extensive knowledge of contemporary Human Resources. You’ll demonstrate your ability to build solid relationships, collaborate and communicate effectively with senior executives to drive outcomes. You will pride yourself on always being a step ahead, anticipating and addressing potential issues before they arise.
Given the nature of the program of work you will be managing and delivering, it is imperative that you have experience in an industrial environment, where you have lead large scale sensitive transformation programs. Your ability to leverage expertise within the business and delegate to specialist teams will be critical to your success.
