An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Systems Administrator to join our national office on a 12 month contract. Working as part of a dynamic team located in Olympic Park, Sydney you will be part of an inclusive and hardworking team who are proud of processing high volumes of payroll requests monthly. As the Payroll Systems Administrator you will be required to have strong technical knowledge of Preceda and will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME)  for integration between Workday and Preceda

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage system maintenance and configuration in Preceda
  • Ensure the payroll system meets all regulatory compliance measures
  • Collaborate with Vendors and IT to maintain integration between Workday, Preceda and other HR systems
  • System & process testing
  • Participate in upgrade / T&A projects,
  • Design and develop reports
  • Provide support to Payroll team and National Payroll Manager during payroll runs

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role 
  • Strong technical understanding of Preceda
  • Extensive working knowledge of Payroll legislation, including superannuation and tax, relevant awards and agreements and general HR practices
  • Demonstrated experience in configurations, testing and UAT
  • Strong written and verbal communication communication
  • Demonstrated experience with process and system improvements 
  • Advanced excel skills with demonstrated experience of documenting changes 
  • Demonstrated experience of training stakeholders with system configuration, payroll processes and interfaces
