The Role

This exciting payroll position supports the bi-weekly payroll process, year end, and compliance with Canadian payroll regulations. This highly autonomous role calls for your brilliant time management skills, your passion for solving problems and exceptional communication skills.

Process bi-weekly hourly and salary payroll (multi provincial)

Time & attendance management and maintenance of payroll master files

Prepare month end payroll journal entries and statutory filings

Troubleshoot payroll inquiries while providing excellent customer service

Complete year end payroll reconciliation including complete T4, T4A and issue to all employees within the calendar year

Monthly payroll tasks as necessary, such as payroll GL inquiries from Finance and governance requests

Requirements

About You

PCP Designation with the Canadian Payroll Association

Exceptional communication skills and customer service centric attitude

3+ years of experience in full cycle payroll in a stand alone position is mandatory

Experience with ADP WFN or other ERP system required

Demonstrated knowledge of payroll processing procedures
