Job Description

In this role you will help provide administrative support to over 1,000 employees as part of a payroll team. You will process employee paychecks by using computerized timekeeping records and timesheets. Your duties include verifying employee work hours, communicating and assisting employees and their managers, and updating billing records. You will work in an office setting with the Payroll Manager, department heads, and peers. This role requires excellent communication, computer, email, and Microsoft Excel skills.

Essential Duties

  • Assists with weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll processing tasks including data entry, processing, and verification into a computerized payroll accounting system each week.
  • Assists with billing report tasks including data entry, processing, and verification.
  • Utilizes computer software for data entry, reporting, and processing.
  • Accurately enters all payroll related data necessary to process and meet deadlines.
  • Assists with tracking of hourly wages, overtime, sick days, and vacation days of employees.
  • Assists with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks as needed.
  • Copy, scan, and file documents as needed.
  • Meets work standards by following productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
  • Helps with resolving problems and identifying work process improvements.
  • Effectively presents information and respond to questions from employees, managers, and clients.
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Some college course work or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong mathematical ability and analytical reasoning skills
  • Must be a quick learner and the ability to adhere to tight deadlines
  • Must be proficient in All Microsoft Office software; must be at an advanced level in Excel
  • Meticulous attention to detail, self-motivated, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Payroll experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must submit to and pass a drug screen
  • Must meet all the requirements to receive required airport security badge and customs’ seal, including a successful completion of a background check and 10-year work history.
