Robert Half is seeking a Payroll & Accounting Specialist. In this role, you will be required to support the Payroll & Accounting department in a variety of duties, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. You should have the ability to communicate effectively with both the internal team and outside customers. What you get to do every single day

• Generate and run custom reports
• Carry out other duties as assigned
• Arrange data into spreadsheets and the payroll system
• Ensure reports are distributed as instructed
• Collect and organize timesheet approvals by contacting employees via email and phone
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc.
• Deliver instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of payroll experience

• Prior experience working in a Finance or Accounting department

• Experience with payroll systems

• Payroll certification an asset (PCP or CPM)
