Join us as a Product Owner

• We’re looking for someone to support senior management in driving the development of our cards & digital payments product roadmap
• You’ll be putting the customer at the heart of our digital payments plans and constantly improving their digital journey and related payments features
• This is an opportunity for you to make your mark by making sure that our products meet customer needs

What you'll do:

As a Product Owner, you’ll be leading the development and continuous improvement of a range of online and offline payments product feature sets, working with talented designers and engineers to deliver the best outcomes for our customers.

You’ll support setting the vision for a whole host of e-commerce and face to face payment features, making sure that we create a world-class digital experience for our customers. What’s more, you’ll take co-ownership of the product roadmap and will drive the definition, management and prioritisation of the digital backlog.

You’ll also be:

• Using information relating to customers, business stakeholders, market conditions and business risks to prioritise and deliver improvements to the digital journey
• Driving all aspects of the digital journey, including performance management, service proposition and customer experience
• Working with stakeholders and delivering on KPIs to inform and monitor the digital product customer experience
• Making sure that continuous improvements in financial spend is within agreed budgets

The skills you’ll need:

You’ll need to have extensive experience as a Product Owner working in the fintech sector, specifically with payments, and you'll have been part of a Scrum or Agile team. We'll also expect you to have the ability to innovate, partner and collaborate with customers and colleagues to implement the best digital experience for our customers.

You’ll bring a successful track record of digital delivery and operations, and you'll have digital channel management and human centred design experience. A good understanding of the technology aspects of payment products would also be ideal, along with a broad understanding of the card payments industry ecosystem, specifically merchant acquiring.

In addition to this, you'll be expected to have:

• A familiarity with digital product management tool sets to support analysis, technology design and build
• A track record of building successful business facing fintech products using data, customer or stakeholder feedback, and industry knowledge 
• An understanding of the needs of B2B business customers and how we can serve them digitally
• Experience of customer management platforms and portals, including onboarding and servicing
• Cards and/or Digital payments expertise and an appreciation for the fintech product sets, such as e-comm gateways, buy now-pay later and recurring payments
