The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Part Time Receptionist (24 hours PW). Your responsibilities will
include:
- To receive and re-direct incoming telephone calls, taking messages etc as required.
- To welcome and receive all visitors to the Home, ensuring that the appropriate register is correctly completed and the relevant resident and/or staff member notified. To organise refreshments as appropriate.
- To support the administrator in the typing of routine correspondence as required in connection with the administration of the Home when requested
- To support the General Manager/ Administrator or other Heads of Department with photocopying when requested
- Ensure adequate stocks of forms, and stationery are available in the receptions area .
- Receive process and distribute all incoming mail, faxes and e-mail etc. in a timely fashion. Organise the prompt distribution of delivered newspapers to the residents
What you will need to succeed

- Degree level education
- Good level of IT skills and literacy
- Previous reception/administration experience
- Computer literate (Word for Windows, Excel, E-mail, Internet etc.)
