Department Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic PA to provide dedicated secretarial support to the CBDC and Fintech Hub senior management team, including cover for the CBDC Director PA as required. This is an excellent opportunity for a PA looking to broaden their skill base and gain exposure within an interesting and busy area.   The Fintech Hub leads the Bank’s strategy and work programme on fintech, in collaboration with colleagues across the Bank. Fintech and technological innovation has the potential to make finance more effective, resilient and inclusive. The Bank’s fintech strategy focuses on how to embrace fintech in support of the Bank’s mission., including supporting the safe deployment of new technologies; enabling payments for a digital age; and influencing the interaction between finance and the digital economy. The CBDC Directorate is responsible for driving the Bank-wide CBDC strategy. CBDC has the potential to positively shape the future of finance. If this potential is harnessed in the right way, it could make finance more effective, resilient and inclusive. Therefore, embracing and applying CBDC to further the Bank’s Mission is one of the Bank’s strategic priorities. Job Description This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the Bank’s agenda on CBDC. We are looking for someone who will:  The CBDC Directorate is an expanding, agile team, driving the Bank-wide CBDC strategy across the institution.  The Fintech Hub is a small team leading the Bank’s fintech strategy and work programme. There is the option to increase your pension (to 1/50th) or decrease (to 1/120th) in exchange for salary through our flexible benefits programme each year.

•   A 7% benefits allowance with the option to take as salary or purchase a wide range of flexible benefits.
