Here's the exciting bit…a day includes

 Manage the Own Brand development critical path, liaise directly with supplier and communicate back to the Buyer
Sample management, preparation for meetings and taking meeting notes
Processing invoices in a timely manner
Load pricing and promotional activity onto the system, in line with company deadlines
Approve POS supplied by the Marketing Team
Competitor research and presenting findings to the OB team
Supplier and product system set up
Management of marketing activity, such as the Christmas Gift Guide
Retrieve and produce data for sales meetings

· Who will the role interact with? Buyer, Senior Buyer and other members of the Own Brand buying team
· Who are the key stakeholders? Marketing team, Visual Planners, Merchandise Planners, Supply Chain
· What are the high level objectives for this role? Meet key company and critical path deadlines
· What will be the key deliverables and who relies on them to do their own job successfully? Buying team

What you’ll need to succeed

· Excellent organisational and communication skills: written and verbal
· Excellent attention to detail
· Ability to work to deadline and prioritise workload
· Able to work both following process and on own initiative
· Flexible and adaptable
· Team Player
· Confident energetic approach
· Excellent PC skills – Microsoft Office packages especially Excel
· A passion for developing a career in Buying

Degree educated 

Proficient on Microsoft - Email, Powerpoint and Excel

Previous experience in a buying environment desired - previous role or internship/work experience 

Interest in the high street and health and beauty world 

Organised

Good communicator 

Able to work well in a team

Flexible and adaptable
