Job description We are looking for an outstanding candidate to support the delivery of our public engagement and technical stakeholder events programme. This will include providing administrative and logistical support to the full range of physical and virtual events, including Community Forums, Citizens’ Forums, Youth Forums, and events for technical stakeholders. This role is essential in the delivery of the Bank’s aim to communicate better with the public that we serve. It will help to achieve the Bank’s objective to increase our public audience and drive higher public engagement with our key messages. It will also contribute to our aim to be more visible and better understood outside of London and the South East. Our outreach events team supports some of our high-profile events, such as the technical briefing of our quarterly Monetary Policy Report. Our public engagement activities include a range of tailored programmes. Our Citizens’ Forum is a way for the Bank to engage directly with members of the public through forums across the UK. Our Community Forums are developed with third sector organisations to ensure that the Bank is listening to lesser-heard groups. And our Youth Forum is a body of 16-25 year olds who work on a range of projects with the Bank to ensure we are better connected to the views and experiences of young people. Specific duties will include: Experience with organising virtual events using a range of platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Teams Live.
