OSS Run is a team of technically competent OSS Operations Specialists supporting OSS Operations to provide proactive Incident Resolution, Service Request fulfilment, working to the ITIL framework 

What will you be doing? 

The OSS Operations team of technology professionals manage and effectively operate the systems within the Converged Network arena.  We are looking for a dynamic & proactive individual who can support the increasing demand for automation and transformation activities within Technology operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality OSS into Operations in conjunction with delivery teams, providing subject matter expertise in one or more key OSS and driving operational improvement.  The ambition being to drive a step change in Digital, customer service centric OSS Operations. Duties Include:

• Incident/Service request Fulfilment 
• Reacting and contributing to the in-house monitoring platform to resolve issues proactively
• Act as OSS ITIL Coordinator across each of the ITIL Stacks
• Manage (internal and external) customers’ expectations
• Enable our customers through automations and self-service capabilities
• Provide ad-hoc Deep Dive analysis to assist OSS 
• ITIL Coordination across OSS
• Resolution, build and deliver on Service Automation & Digital capability as defined by Technology Operations strategy.
• Participate in the technical delivery of projects in the team. 
• You will contribute to the technical strategy and team discussions on system architecture, component design and improvements. 

Who are we looking for?  

• Knowledge of OSS / NMS Operations
• Experience working with coding and query languages – preferably inc. Linux, PowerShell, Python, Ansible (YAML), Database adminsistration & scripting 
• Networking experience 
• Experience working with code versioning repositories – preferably GIT
• Ability to influence, negotiate with and persuade internal and external customers.
• Comfortable communicating with customers/senior stakeholders at all levels in the organisation,
• You must be eligible and able to successfully pass SC (Security Clearance).
