In this role you will be doing a theoretical investigation of novel optical imaging concepts. You will be designing and developing optical components that can be integrated into cameras or sensing devices. Your days will be filled with doing simulations, reading related research papers, learning new methods and incorporating them into your work, getting feedback from collegues, presenting and reporting results.
Our teams incubate advanced optical technologies, including dynamic and micro-optics and we design novel optical components deeply integrated with electronics. You will help create these devices and build partnerships with Microsoft Research, as well as engineering and product development. You will also work with cross-functional teams to productize these new technologies. We're looking for the best and brightest to join us in designing for the future!
For these roles we are only able to consider individuals studying at universities in Finland.
