About the Role

We are looking for an operator to join our Living Earth team based in Christchurch.

In this role, you will be responsible to operate the front-end loaders and other machinery for shredding, screening, loading of trucks and unloading of green waste, additives, and transport of material around the site.

• Your key responsibilities will include :
• Operating on-site loaders and equipment to process materials.
• On-site operation of the screen, ensuring the screen is clean, maintained daily.
• General labour as required, including sweeping, cleaning or assisting other staff.
• Performing all required daily service and maintenance of machinery and operate in a safe and efficient manner

To be successful in this role

• You must be physically fit and strong and able to work in wet or sunny conditions
• Have a Full New Zealand Driver’s licence
• Relevant experience and W, T endorsements for each machine that is required to be operated (Class 2 license is an advantage).
• Experience in operating wheeled and tracked loaders, diggers, and fork hoist
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
