As one of a team of Operational Transformation Leads you will understand the scope of the Transformation agenda and work with senior leadership to define the desired end state for their organisation. You will design a programme of work to evolve the organisation and prepare the operational teams to work in its new form. You will work with a virtual team to deliver the defined programme of work and ensure that change is successfully landed, embedded and benefits realised. As Operations Transformation Lead you will form part of a Central Content Operations Change function whose purpose is to ensure that change is planned and delivered in line with Content Operations Transformation Strategy and results in an efficient and Smart organisation of motivated and empowered people.

What you’ll do:

– Development & subsequent delivery of a programme of work with senior leadership including areas such as: Defining Future Requirements, Creating Business Cases, Process Analysis & Design, Planning & Progress Mgmt, Behavioural Change Definition & Delivery, Training Planning & Delivery, Planning & Management of User Acceptance Testing

– Creating a virtual team to deliver the required changes, which should include representatives from all impacted areas

– Support the Senior leadership with securing funding to deliver key changes and manage and monitor project budgets as necessary.

– Establish a robust Implementation plan, outlining the sequencing of technology deployment into teams and the standing up any interim or dual operations to ensure a seamless migration of services and staff

– Support Departmental heads with the delivery of any staff training, working with training leads, external training providers and or subject matter experts as necessary to ensure the delivery of staff training and or upskilling is adequate

– Ensure Leadership team are kept up to date with progress, risks and issues and leveraged to support and make decisions regarding direction & approach

– Realise benefits e.g cost savings & efficiencies

– Responsible for ensuring new technology is seamlessly integrated into operations.

What you’ll bring:

– The Operations Transformation Lead will have significant exposure to senior leaders within Sky so must be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and through written communication

– Will have a naturally Inclusive style and approach and will work collaboratively with and through others to drive results

– Delivery focused, strategic and forward looking with ability to identify risks on the horizon early on

– Exceptional knowledge of the business, roles & responsibilities of different teams including building a good network of contacts across the Group.

– Able to communicate with and bridge the gap between technical, operational and business teams

– Ability to represent and balance the best interests of all the impacted groups against the wider transformation agenda, making decisions that support the Content Ops Transformation but are sensitive to our people

– Extensive experience of delivering and implementing complex change and transformation

– Prior Business Analyst and Project Management experience essential

– Change management practitioner certification or equivalent
