About the Job

This is a not to be missed opportunity to join our growing business in the newly created position of Operations Supervisor, to be based in the Christchurch branch.

This is a pivotal role and requires an experienced, highly organised, and motivated person who is committed to the success and continued evolution of the company.

The Operations Supervisor will have accountability for managing a range of business activities that aid in the organisation and performance of the business in the Christchurch branch.

Supervision of team members, organising the Day to day Operations - direct the operation of all branch projects in conjunction with management, the client and staff on a daily basis to optimise systems and processes, customer expectations and project production targets and profitability. Assisting with on site health and safety and quality control requirements and being hands on with the work, this will be a challenging and rewarding role - you'll see amazing transformations that you'll be proud to tell your friends and family "we did that".

Successful Candidates will:

• Have experience in the construction of all aspects of commercial and civil landscaping projects and /or experience in a similar role
• Proven track record of staff management
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (both written and oral communication) with a wide range of people in all situations.
• A proven record of success in landscape project supervision space
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to foster and maintain a relationship of trust and confidentiality with commercially sensitive information
• Demonstrate an ability to build strong relationships with a wide spectrum of people
• Be computer literate and capable of presenting reports and reading plans and documentation
• Maintain high attention to detail
• Be able to manage changing priorities and adapt to constantly changing situations
• Demonstrated confidence and motivation while self managing and thriving under pressure
• Professional, well presented and approachable.
• A clean driving history with class 2 being an advantage

Please note: Key things we are looking for is the landscape experience, particularly on the tools as this will be a blended role with a lot of time on site, getting stuck in with the team.

Our experience spans over 40 years and encompasses work across a range of industries including council contracts, road construction, large infrastructure projects and forestry. We have also been extensively involved in the rehabilitation of mines, landfills and quarries. We also

provide lawn and landscaping services for both residential & commercial customers. Many big projects you know of, we have worked on.
