Role Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to lead and support management of the Sustainability Planning team responding to our GWS Enterprise.

The GWS Enterprise Sustainability Planning team support large corporate clients with design and implementation of sustainability strategies, sustainability reporting and compliance, varying from single subject consulting projects to large change management engagements.

You will lead on team structure, process, recruitment, finance and support business development solutioning.. Working within a client-centric organization, your key focus will be on:

• Business development and project delivery due diligence
• Quality control and accuracy of project delivery
• Resource management scoping
• Recruitment
• Financial process management
• Contract compliance

The role is within the GWS Enterprise Sustainability Planning and Strategy team, where you will be participate in both account and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive service and knowledge development within the team.
• Support development of commercial solutions for our clients 
• Manage and align resourcing
• Develop, communicate and implement exceptional operational delivery standards within the Sustainability Planning & Strategy team.
• Ensure quality control for all project delivery types.
• Build strong client and account relationships and use this to ensure smooth operational delivery of projects
• Develop strong effective working partnerships with appropriate third party delivery agents and manage all associate contracts.

Person Specification/Requirements

Profile/Experience

• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in delivery in Built Environment Sector
• Significant experience in business operations and alignment of service delivery
• Experience working with central operation teams an associated platforms – finance, HR, legal, compliance
• Management experience – direct and/or third party
• Understanding of business sustainability deliverables are – application not necessary, but advantageous 

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level (minimum 2:1
