Job overview:

We are currently in the growth mode in the UK, hence we are looking for ambitious stuff, who would like to work as Operations Coordinator, handling our A-Z airfreight operations. You could became a subject matter expert in this area and get some expertise in other modes of transport as well.

Job scope:   

• To deal with all aspects of international airfreight movements
• To monitor flights arrival times and inform the customer of delays
• To act as a conduit between customers and suppliers to ensure all needs are met within the specified delivery time
• To liaise with overseas offices for shipment movements, taking responsibility for monitoring progress and keeping the customer advised of the status
• Updating customer reports ensuring accuracy before sending to customers

Qualifications

About you:

• Over 1 year of experience in freight forwarding or logistics 
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Flexibility in a constantly changing environment with occasional out of hours working required
• IT literate (ability to utilize MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, etc.)
• Knowledge of CargoWise 1 would be an advantage
