We have an exciting opportunity available for an Operations Analyst on our production team. This role would be suitable for someone with experience in analytical recording, interpretation, modelling and reporting looking to take the next stage in their career. Supporting the Cogeneration & Production teams, the successful candidate will be required to collect and store accurate and timely data from key stakeholders, whilst providing accurate analytical reports on production, financial, compliance & sustainability (and environmental) performance.

This role will suit someone who enjoys working with and communicating with different key stakeholders, finding and putting together all the pieces of the puzzle, is a self-starter and a career driven individual.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing data and analytical support to the business operations team
• Provide analytical support (monitoring & reporting) on performance in key business areas - operational performance, sustainability, generator compliance reporting, production consumables, environmental trading & cane production data collection
• Assist in developing cost & performance models to optimise operations
• Liaise with key stakeholders for energy usage, tariff comparisons, bagasse & mud logistics
• Lead relevant projects to their successful completion

The Successful Applicant:

• Of course you must be Qualified - Tertiary qualifications in relevant Engineering, Science or Mathematical, Business, Finance, Economics discipline or equivalent practical experience
• Been there before - Exposure to a similar analytical role with experience in recording, modelling & reporting on complex datasets to improve business outcomes
• Walk the talk - Demonstrated business acumen & commercial experience with an ability to effectively influence, negotiate & communicate at all levels. Ability to data mine SAP & collate data into detailed spreadsheet formats
• Get the job done - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement techniques
• Stand out from the crowd - Previous experience in data mining and data extraction would be highly regarded
• Something extra - Extensive knowledge of excel, experience with bulk solids handling and transport logistics
