Salary : £22,369.08 per annum
Temporary, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - 40 hours per week

Within Care and Rehabilitation Services, the philosophy of our prisons is to rehabilitate offenders and equip them to re-integrate into mainstream society on release. We seek to normalise prison conditions as far as possible to reflect life in the outside community. Our aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe and causes of prison stress are minimised. Central to our philosophy is the relationship between staff and prisoners. Our training and operational practices emphasise the need to treat prisoners with dignity and respect and G4S staff build positive and supportive relationships with the prisoners in their care. HMP & YOI Parc accommodates 1038 convicted male adult prisoners and remand/ convicted young offenders and young people in a secure but modern environment.
We now have an opportunity for a temporary Case Administrator to join our OMU team at HMP Parc to provide administration support for the OMU function at HMP & YOI Parc. Working within the OMU team, this position will ensure the effective implementation alongside the OMU Senior Case Administrators, of the Offender management structures both within Parc and within the wider Community. The Case Administrator will also ensure that sentences are calculated in accordance with PSO6500 and that un-sentenced offenders are lawfully remanded. The Case Administrator will ensure all documents and IT systems utilised in the release process of an offender.
The successful candidate will work closely with external partners to ensure offenders are risk assessed, interviewed and reviewed within the required timeframes. They will also be the main point of contact for staff, offenders, Offender Managers and Case Administrators within the Community.
