Responsibilities

• Working in a team of engineers in the UK focused on performance, availability, reliability and consistency.  
• Contributing to an inclusive and collaborative environment to turn requirements into simple, elegant, and optimal solutions at a large scale. 
• Taking the lead on test design, implementation, execution and analysis. 

• Develop elegant and effective code, championing refactoring when needed and ensuring your codebase, including test suites, can be modified and maintained efficiently. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field, or equivalent industry experience.  
• At least five years of industry experience testing high-scale networking software products. 

• General knowledge of networking and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, etc.). 
• Proficient coding, testing, and debugging abilities in Python or equivalent scripting language.  
• Experience in working in an Agile development environment. 
• Demonstrates focus on quality throughout the development process. 
• Has a confident, solution- and result-oriented working style combined with constructive critical thinking. 

• Excellent communication skills: capable of explaining complex technologies to customers, partners and internal engineers. 
• Energy, enthusiasm, versatility and creativity.
