About this role
This role is key to defining and leveraging the right analytics that guide the right technical & investment decisions. This will support in maintaining & strengthening EE/BT’s position as #1 UK mobile and also directly drive Positive Perception of our Network performance & customer experience.
You'll have the following responsibilities
Define, produce & implement improved RAN & E2E analytics to support design, deployment and operations processes.
Implement improved RAN & E2E analytics either working with Data scientist community or directly programming capability onto BT/EE analytics platforms.
Support the wider RAN Design & Performance team in setting up appropriate analytics to guarantee the customer experience during network upgrade activities, during normal network operation periods and to identify improvement opportunities.
Leverage greater use of analysis automation, big data functionality, new tooling and latest analytic methods into BAU processes and network deep dive analysis.
Gather analytics requirements from the wider RAN Design & Performance team + peer network teams and investigate/propose & drive implementation.
Liaise with/into Tools forums/architecture teams to ensure key RAN Design & Performance requirements for development are captured.
Perform In depth analysis of RAN & Customer experience KPI trends, failure causes & trace protocols to identify key End to End Service problems & improvement opportunities.
Work with Team Lead/Line manager then subsequently Project Delivery programmes to advise and agree required funding, resources and timescales to deliver new functionality.
You'll have the following skills & experience
Highly skilled in manipulating, analysing and interpreting data and turning it into improvement activities.
Excellent Mobile Network knowledge.
Strong Python/R coding skills, use of QGIS/Mapinfo/ Qlikview/Qliksense, experience of using GCP/HaaS.
Good End to End signalling knowledge.
Excellent collaboration skills.
