Location:   London or Newbury/Blended home working  (Full-time remote working during COVID-19) 
Permanent:  Full time (37.5 hours per week Mon to Fri)

What will you be doing? 

 

Networks Development (ND) is a new team within Vodafone Networks, focussing on delivering a consistent, growing and evolving network and owning ND processes and data.


You will be a key role holder within the Network Development function, who will own the capture and develop the roadmap and associated business case, ensuring Network Deployment evolve the deployment business processes and tools, to gain maximum efficiency and accuracy. This will involve owning any demand into the digital teams (who sit within National Standards & Engineering) for the needed ND new or existing tools, capabilities and interfaces. In addition, focus on ensuring data quality is consistent, timely and correct.


You will work with the relevant ND Process and Data owners (for end to end or for specific subsets) OR assume this role yourself, as needed, to ensure we create “output” needed by ND and work closely with stakeholders across Networks, Technology, and the wider Vodafone Business to prioritise these against our Digital Roadmap. 

Who are we looking for?  

 

  • Good experience working in transformation and agile environment: clarifying what users want/need, agree meaning of their words, capturing and documenting backlog and    working with Digital Team on delivery.
  • Comfortable developing Roadmaps and associated budgets to user needs.
  • Experience and understanding with Agile tools such as Azure Dev Ops
  • Good understanding of Mobile &/or Fixed Line networks with Vodafone Network Development and the role of the Digital Team (now within Network Standards & Engineering) in delivering for ND.
  • Ideally a relevant Degree in Engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
