Job Title: Named Account Executive – Marketing Cloud - Public Sector

Location: London, UK, Remote

The UK business is our #2 market globally. In June 2018, we announced plans to invest $2.5 billion over the next five years to support our growing customer base here. We continue to grow our presence with offices in London and Manchester. In May 2018, we opened the Salesforce Innovation Centre (SIC) at Salesforce Tower London and in 2019 an Ohana Floor to host our employees and partners.

Latest figures compiled by IDC indicate that the Salesforce Economy is expected to generate more than $65bn of net new business revenues by 2022. It’s also expected to create 329K direct and indirect jobs in the UK over the same timeframe.

Department and Role Description:

Salesforce Public Sector believes that technology has the power to change the way that citizens engage with and consume public services. Adopting proactive communications helps to build trust, and will enable Government Departments, agencies and services to build strong connections between citizens, employees and their services; Enabling departments to become more responsive, effective, efficient, all whilst providing a better service.
 

As a Digital Account Executive, you would be responsible for generating new business primarily in whitespace accounts. You will work with a wider team of account executives to deliver solutions which will deliver real value and help to increase trust and deliver better outcomes to citizens.

Your Impact:

You will work closely with your customers as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique company challenges and goals. You will consult with customers on the Salesforce Platform to evangelise solutions that will help them reach their business goals and blaze new trails within their organisations.

The solutions you sell, will directly benefit the citizens of the UK, by helping government department to provide a better service to citizens, more quickly whilst providing savings.
 

You will contribute to our business growth in a collaborative and fun atmosphere, as a valued member of our Ohana.

Your Qualifications

Proven track record of selling cloud solutions, ideally within Marketing technology, but not essential.

Ability to develop a compelling point of view based upon real-time experience, and masses of publishes research.

Public Sector operates open and transparent procurement, therefore experience of formal tender processes is beneficial.

Equally, we are interested to hear from individuals that have led large digital transformation programmes.

You will have multiple years of quota carrying sales.
