On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a MS-SQL/Oracle Developer.

MS-SQL/Oracle Developer – Job Description

• Business group: FCORE (previously FCRMT) - Application Development
• Project: Application is called Name Screening Application, and it uses a vendor product from Accuity. SQL server is used as a database and SSIS as ETL tool
• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
• Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner

MS-SQL/Oracle Developer – Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of technical working experience with MS-SQL/Oracle, SSIS to develop, test, and debug ad-hoc queries, stored procedures, and data migration scripts
• 2 years+ of experience with Windows & Linux OS (for infrastructure migration projects)
• Hands-on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC
• 2 years+ of experience working with .Net
• Demonstrate understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) strategies and design, (staging environments, data transformation, slowly changing dimensions, etc.), with an ability to support and maintain the entire IT processes for the Business
• Creative, self-starting, results oriented and highly motivated individual with very good analytical skills in order to apply this knowledge to resolve business problems
• Good attitude
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

MS-SQL/Oracle Developer - Nice to have Skills

• An asset to have technical working experience in the banking / financial services industries
• Also, asset to have technical working experience in the use of Java/J2EE, Fircosoft Tool (Accuity) & basic knowledge of Servers and Network Connections
