Te Kaiurungi | About the Role

This role is about delivering a range of technology applications/development services through design, development, programming, testing and maintenance of technology solutions aligned with business objectives.  

• Work with the Agile Team to analyse business processes, procedures, and user requirements to establish system requirements.
• Contribute to system/application design including production of system and program documentation as well as ongoing maintenance.
• Develop solutions and specifications so that agreed requirements can be converted into functional systems.
• Undertake testing activities in relation to software solutions ensuring that quality meets agreed specifications/requirements
• Create development, support documentation, and provide advice regarding applications to enable support functions to operate effectively
• Contribute to the review and redesign of processes or procedures, on an ongoing basis, to deliver improved system productivity or efficiency.
• Resolve production incidents (through diagnosis, testing and applying fix) for assigned application/s.
• Participate and contribute to associated guilds and chapters for the betterment of community practices.

You will bring:

• Practical experience in development and maintenance of mobile applications
• Broad programming experience developed through a combination of line work and testing including programming/testing and design/analysis
• Swift, Objective-C, iOS SDK and a thorough understanding of the software development and support lifecycles
• Some formal software testing experience, including building test scripts and conducting systems, unit, and regression testing
• Experience with continuous testing and integration.
• Ambition and passion are integral to the role
