What you'll do:

• Maintain and enhance our machine learning platform across ingestion, annotation, model training, serving, monitoring, and reporting for operating at scale. 
• Use speech recognition, natural language processing and computer vision techniques to explore large unstructured datasets and train machine learning models for customer products. 
• Design experiments and develop A/B tests to evaluate machine learning models deployed to customers. 
• Collaborate with specialists across scrum, product, engineering, data science, machine learning and research to deliver solutions that directly improve customer experiences. 
• Present data science and machine learning proposals to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

What you'll bring:

• Advanced expertise in AWS services i.e., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Athena, Aurora, SageMaker, QuickSight. 
• Intermediate expertise in traditional machine learning (i.e., unsupervised, supervised, semi-supervised), deep learning (i.e., convolution, recurrent, autoencoder) and statistics (i.e., hypothesis testing). 
• Experience in Python and TypeScript (optional) programming languages and TensorFlow and PyTorch frameworks. 
• Experience in training and deploying models to production environments that serve live products and services. 
• Awareness of test-driven development and the importance of flexible, extensible, maintainable, and testable code (and documentation!) 
• Awareness of cutting-edge machine learning techniques and frameworks and how they could be used to deliver innovative customer experiences.
