Life as a Merchandiser

Are you an experienced Merchandiser at the top of your field with vision and a fast‐paced approach?

Perhaps your experience in the retail merchandising industry has you wanting to expand your reach? At Primark Dublin City Centre, we offer the opportunity to think big and do even bigger. So, not only will it be your job to influence which clothes we sell in different regions, there may be exciting opportunities to travel.

What we’re looking for

Thinking ahead. Working with the Head of Merchandising, you’ll agree on all the big financial targets. With the Buying Team, you’ll conduct regular trading reviews to maximize sales and stay on top of stock levels. Plus, your strategic experience will help you identify current and future trading opportunities.

Precision problem solving - Directing the Assistant Merchandiser and Trainee Merchandiser, you’ll be responsible for the reliability and accuracy of your department.

Range management - You’ll advise the Buying Team on option plans and range building, so your knowledge of the Primark business and individual Primark stores will be vital.

Vision - Implementing and improving new systems and operating procedures will enable you to shape your department.

People skills & high standards - Working under the Head of Merchandising, you’ll maintain Primark’s high standards while keeping in touch with your peers, team, and neighbouring teams.

You’ll also train and develop your team while taking responsibility for your own career progression.
