Role

You are a creative Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion to own and develop designs from concept to commercialization of a new generation leading-edge, high speed, automated manufacturing machines. You will work in a team environment and your collaborative role includes design of concepts of high-speed machinery through 3D modelling with SolidWorksâ„¢.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and review overall machine design process
• Specify and source mechanical commercial components.
• Prepare Mechanical Bills of Materials and systems documentation.
• Assist with drawing file system administration and project documentation
• Liaise between engineering, procurement and manufacturing departments

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or Equivalent.
• 3+ years of design experience in an automation and custom machine building environment.
• Experience with SolidWorksâ„¢ in a machine design capacity.
• Knowledge of PDM document management system.
