To operate, maintain and carry out first fix repair to Sky Data centre M&E systems. These can include Ups, DC power, stand by generator and room cooling systems. These are located throughout the UK at over 50 locations.

What you’ll do:

• To carry out day-to-day ‘hands on’ activities within the property/maintenance/facilities group, to ensure continued Sky Tech M&E business operations across a portfolio of 50 technical buildings.
• Carry out Low voltage 410/230v electrical installation, ‘first look’ reactive maintenance and preventative maintenance on a range of M&E equipment within the Sky Technologies building portfolio.
• To utilize existing skills, and further develop the required expertise to carry out more specialized maintenance tasks on Sky Tech M&E portfolio as may be determined
• Overtime is required on pre-determined or ‘planned works’ projects
• The role will require extensive UK wide travel, and entail overnight stops to work efficiently
• Subject to future review(s), this role may require working as part of a 24/7 callout regime to suitably located & qualified personnel.

What you’ll bring:

• Good electrical experience, in either installation or maintenance role.
• A good mechanical engineering background, in plant maintenance and repair, willing to learn.
• Full driving license is essential.
• An awareness, and understanding of Health & Safety legislation
• A minimum of 3 years demonstrable property and building infrastructure first line maintenance experience and including,
• Building M& E services maintenance
