This position works closely with the production, manufacturing, quality assurance and engineering functions to ensure all required material and components are available to support the Master Production Plan.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
â— Analyze reports to see supplier orders that are coming due
â— Work with Vendor Portal to ensure all vendors are checking their schedules
â— Collect information from Vendor Portal on firm ship dates and enter into the system
â— Contact outside vendors to ensure orders will ship on time. Any orders that are delayed need to be explained
â— Track all incoming shipments to get ETA and ensure properly received when here
â— Inventory accuracy and investigation of discrepancies
â— Create and maintain priority lists
â— Keep production and management advised of all shortages and late shipments
â— Quickly and accurately respond to e-mails

High School or equivalent. Post-secondary education is an asset
â— Experience in an MRP based production environment is a definite asset â— Good understanding of manufacturing processes â— Previous experience in production coordinating â— Previous experience working with inventory is an asset â— Knowledge of farm equipment is preferred â— Clear communication skills â— Ability to meet deadlines in a busy work environment â— Computer skills. Experience with AS400 is a definite asset
