Overview:

In a warehouse environment and functioning within a team, perform multiple duties exemplifying total quality and service, thereby ensuring parts are efficiently received, inventoried, packaged and shipped to multiple customers.  Two shifts are in operation.  Duties are primarily semi-skilled with various physical requirements.  Since changing business requirements necessitate movement, the work location may be any of several departments.

Job Responsiblites:

• Perform duties required for handling, transporting, kitting, subassembly and line stock of materials and supplies.
• Create space for inventory, make sure that material is wrapped and identified properly.
• Conduct inventory control processes as documented to maintain the accuracy of inventory .
• Assist with general warehouse housekeeping to maintain inventory control and a safe work environment.
• Enter inventory data and transactions by keyboard and scanners, as required.
• Manage own time for task completion. Be in work area on time, exemplify good work habits and commitment to all jobs well done.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in either a group setting or individually.
• Ability and willingness to operate necessary equipment.
• Follow health and safety policies and procedures and perform other duties as required.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

• One (1) or more years material handling experience (preferred).
• One (1) or more years in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Lifting and carrying parts up to forty (40) pounds up to ten (10) hours per day.
• Grasping and moving  parts of various size up to ten (10) hours per day.
• Walking and standing up to ten (10) hours per day.
• Repeated bending, twisting, stooping one (1) to four (4) hours per day.
• The Florence facility has the right to deem a person qualified for a position if that person has had one or more years of experience in the position or similar position.
