Marketing Program Manager
The Role
As a Marketing Program Manager, you will champion the marketing lifecycle process and drive alignment across worldwide Marketing, Segment Marketing and the Business unit while defining the plan across all phases of the marketing lifecycle process. This involves working cross-functionally with key stakeholders to define the category of launch, key deliverables, timelines, etc.
The Person
You can demonstrate Program Management leadership acumen, customer focus, strategic agility, all while getting results through influencing cross-functional teams. You will drive cross-functional alignment with key business partners to drive the common goal for each phase of the marketing lifecycle management process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Running weekly launch core teams and tracking the MLC phases, tracking weekly communication to key partners, and outlining progress and assigned action items.
- As an SME for your assigned segment, you will work with business unit marketing, segment marketing, and WW regional marketing teams as an active participant and contributor in the improvement of the marketing life cycle process.
- Attend relevant business unit core team meetings and represent/provide input.
- With an understanding for overall marketing and business objectives for each new product in your segment, you will refine tactics & rollout plans across each phase of launch.
- Influence product launch timelines and on-time delivery of associated results to meet customer timelines.
- Lead the marketing life cycle process ensuring readiness, accurate forecast, and product transitions in the region.
- Drive communication and process compliance for launch.
- Act as the main interface for the cross-functional team supporting a product launch effectively communicating the launch scope, requirements, and timelines.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams outside the core team to ensure alignment on plan of record.
- Demonstrate common program management tools such as the launch deliverable tracker and deliverable dashboards in Smartsheet, track and communicate marketing deliverables and their associated due dates.
Preferred Experience:
- Release or launch product life-cycle program management experience.
- Comfortable with continuously changing priorities and working in a fast-paced environment on a global team.
- Understanding of technical product concepts in making product/commodity trade-off decisions.
- Strong project management skills and track record of running full project life cycles.
- Must be organized and able to prioritize & perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Must possess strong analytical skills, business, and financial skills.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Knowledge of PC industrial technologies, future trends, and direction, including PC competitors is a plus.
Academic credentials
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
