The Content Products team sit within Sky’s Consumer group. The team are responsible for marketing Sky’s channel brands and content, including incredible Sky Originals across TV such as Gangs of London and Chernobyl. Sky’s original content is an important part of the Sky entertainment marketing team, and this role offers an exciting opportunity for a driven and dynamic individual and a unique chance to work with the best and brightest in the industry.

What you’ll do:

As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for delivering all on and off-air brand campaigns from conception to delivery across the Entertainment content portfolio. Working closely with creative agencies and production teams, you will agree the creative strategy for each priority show, ensuring creative consistency and that each campaign delivers against a number of KPIs.

You will be responsible for ensuring that your campaigns follow the agreed process and are delivered to brief and on time. You will need to communicate effectively and work closely with internal and external stakeholders including agencies, producers, studios, and the extensive network of Sky’s internal teams.

• Day to day management of on and off-air campaigns. This includes proactively organising kick-off sessions, brief creation, management of creative process, delivery of copy and research.

• Work with the Marketing Lead to manage brand identity & ensure consistency for the Sky channels you work across.

• Support the Marketing Lead in identifying opportunities and delivering campaigns that enhance and / or market the channel proposition to support subscriber value and drive growth using channel / programme insights to identify priority content to support these goals.

• Provide outstanding creative leadership to both internal members of staff and external teams working with the department. Challenge media and creative agencies to deliver best in class work and innovative solutions to campaigns

• Channel brand owner – ensure all output from Sky regarding the channel brands is correct, in line with the marketing guidelines for the channels and communicating the key message priorities. Be the go to person for all brand related queries in respect of these channels.

• Work closely and manage the day-to-day relationships with Creative Agencies to ensure delivery of an idea that works effectively TTL. Work closely with creative team to ensure consistency across on air and online.

• Build strong relationships with the channel teams including PR, Social, Influencer, Scheduling, Trading, Commissioning, Sky Media, Brand, and Promotions

• Ensure all Campaigns are measured, and results shared. Ensure that all best practice learnings are captured within case studies and incorporated into relevant campaigns in the future

• Ensure all activities are carried out cost effectively, efficiently and within budget. Be responsible and accountable for your campaign budgets.

• Present campaigns at head of, director level and above as part of our sign off processes.

• Keep ahead of developments in the field of marketing, maintaining links with the industry and incorporating fresh research or approaches into marketing plans where relevant.

• Previous marketing experience of working on a well-known brand

• A natural passion and enthusiasm for all things television and/or film

• You will be well versed in presenting, challenging, and managing senior stakeholders with confidence

• A great team player with a willingness to roll up your sleeves

• Assertive, and confident

• Able to work and think independently but come together for our common goals

• Excellent attention to detail and able to build relationships with external contacts, e.g. TV studios.
