What will you be in charge of in this role?
- Lead a portfolio of brand accounts and manage the day to day client communication
- Project manage campaigns across the full marketing mix, ensuring they are on the brief from concept to delivery. You will have a junior marketing executive supporting you
- Create awareness and develop GTA Black Women In Tech brand and community
- Generate quality leads to expand our clients’ customer base
- Support the director in delivering agreed marketing activities to attract corporate sponsors
- Source PR and speaking opportunities
- Lead the production and distribution of creative content (social media, videos and blog posts)
- Project manage our The Voices In The Shadow Book and Festival in October 2022

Essential
- Proven 2 years minimum experience in a marketing role
- Good understanding of the principles of marketing
- Good writing and language skills
- Friendly and professional
- An eye for detail
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Confident communicator, able to build relationships with clients
Desirable
Business or marketing-related qualification (e.g. degree, CIM)
Skills or experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Social media
- Content marketing or copywriting
- Digital marketing
- Marketing strategy
- Analytical skills to evaluate marketing campaigns
- A natural creative and commercial mindset
- Proficient in MS Office and marketing software (e.g. HubSpot)
- Familiarity with creative, social media and web tools (e.g. Canva, Google Analytics)
