Title: Marketing Assistant

CBRE is recruiting for a Marketing Assistant to join our busy UK Marketing team, working alongside the Residential Marketing Manager, and reporting into the Head of Marketing UK.

The key focus of this role is to provide marketing support to the residential business line, predominately across our digital channels. The successful candidate will be dedicated to property and development marketing.

The position will be based in our brand new Henrietta House office in London’s West End, although this person will be expected to be flexible and able to work from other offices across London, and virtually, as required. 

Context

CBRE’s go-to-market strategy in the residential sector is to provide a best in class sales and lettings service, fully integrated with our wider offering from land, to valuation, to management. Marketing plays a crucial role in this by instigating and managing end-to-end campaigns that start in the media and digital space with brand building, through to developing relevant and timely content for relationship building and lead generation directly into the sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

Residential UK Website

  • Create development pages on the UK residential website for all our new schemes and launches
  • Maintain and update existing content pages on the website
  • Regular quality control and spot checks of property listings
  • Take ownership for the constant improvement and upgrade of the website, working with the digital marketing team

CBRE Intranet

  • Maintain and update CBRE’s internal intranet pages for the Residential business

SEO/PPC

  • Work with our external agency to monitor PPC campaigns for areas, developments and standalone campaigns.
  • Supporting Marketing Manager in our SEO projects
  • Share best practice for SEO and PPC with project leads

Email marketing

  • Create regular property EDMs in campaignlogic, as requested by the business
  • Send out corporate email campaigns on behalf of the business when required
  • Liaise and work together with clients to promote their schemes and launches with HTML email campaigns

Social media

  • Create engaging social content and manage our Instagram account
  • Support the marketing team in creating paid campaigns across a range of social platforms
  • Monitor and manage customer interaction via social channels, report back to the business

Content

  • Work alongside the Social Media and Digital teams to provide information for wider social platforms to promote the residential business
  • Support our Communications team in internal and external communications for the residential business line

Project marketing

  • Working alongside the Project Leads, deliver integrated marketing strategies for clients’ projects, including launches, seminars, digital campaigns, and other activity as required

Thought leadership

  • Work alongside CBRE’s research team to share our insight and market intel with clients in creative and engaging ways

Invoicing

  • Manage all marketing invoices for the team, creating purchase orders when required and assisting our clients and suppliers with invoice enquires

Wider UK & CE activity

  • When required, assist the wider marketing team with key events, campaigns and projects as necessary

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree-level qualification preferred or equivalent
  • Experience in working in a business or marketing environment
  • Understanding of digital channels and social media
  • Interest in the real estate industry
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word

  •           High levels of energy and enthusiasm with creativity and lateral thinking in all interactions
  •           Excellent attention to detail and highly organised as this is a fast-paced role
  •           Fast learner and ability to adapt to new information and deadlines quickly
  •           Self-starter, able to work independently and proactively at all times
  •           Confident and effective written and verbal communication across multiple stakeholders
  •           Manage time effectively while managing multiple priorities and projects concurrently
  •           Ambitious to learn and develop a career in marketing within the property industry
